Typhon

Typhon [or Typhoeus] - The son of Gaea and Tartarus. He was of vast dimensions, taller than the high mountains, and from his shoulders sprouted a hundred serpents heads, of which each head had a black tongue. From his eyes sprung fiery flames. All these heads produced a thousand and one jarring notes which were so powerful that not even the gods could understand them. Even from his thighs countless vipers sprouted up as far as his head and hissed disgustingly. And his entire body was covered in wings. In the battle with the Giants, Typhoeus wrestled with Zeus who only with the greatest difficulty was finally able to overcome him when he crushed him with Mt. Aetna. [p. 89]
