Horizon may be described as the "moment" a convex plane (whether the earth or an apple) rolls beyond view from a particular position of sight, or the limit of perception along a curved form. It is not as easy to see with accuracy or to draw as is an edge. Closing one eye, as in sighting something along a gun barrel, helps. [Harlan, Calvin.
