Color Wheel


A rapidly spinning vertical wheel on which colored paper disks are mounted. It is used for various experiments in the optical mixture of colors. If the entire color spcetrum is put on a disk and spun rapidly, it will appear white in accordance with the additive behavior of spectral colors. [p. 94]
