Drying Oils - Tung Oil
Tung oil (Chinese Wood Oil) is obtained from the seeds of a tree that grows in China and Japan and is now cultivated in Florida. It is found in wood finishes and especially floor sealers, for it dries hard and is resistant to wear. It yellows and, if driers are not used, dries somewhat erratically. It is not used in artistic painting. [p. 35]
